What I've been listening to these days...

So I haven't posted in quite some time(life gets busy sometimes), but I haven't stopped listening to music of all sorts. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the new Beyonce album(it's becoming a fave of mine), Ledisi's album is great and Jill Scott delivered another solid album. I went back and listened to Miguel's debut album and I am impressed by its quality. I also have a couple of mixtapes to check out including Houston's own Z-Ro, J. Cole's new Cole World, amonng many other albums I need to sit back and listen to. So below are a few of the tracks from the albums I have listened to recently.

                                              

Revisted: Jodeci

Wow...I mean they were a great group, but then they fell off real hard. It's hard to see them like this, so I'll only share videos of them in their prime(ya'll were sleeping on Dalvin in the looks department)

Ok let's not act like Bobby Brown wasn't doing his thing back in the 90's, while he was not the King of R&B (Jamie Foxx joke for those who get it)he was like the prince for like a hot minute until he fell off bad. Enjoy!

Love him! I am a huge Raheem DeVaughn fan, don't know when I became one(prob 2008ish) but I am officially a huge fan. Enjoy!

Ok so I recently found out about Big K.R.I.T. from a friend of mine(shouts out to Radical Randyyyyy!!!) and I have to say I really like the mixtape 4eva. I like almost every song, granted I need to listen again for a third time. So big ups to Big K.R.I.T.

I'll be the first to admit that I am not really a Ciara fan, but she does have some songs that I do like. If she can get back to making albums like the Evolution, she will be back to what she does best. Enjoy!

So we all think we can sing or at least try, I sound my best when in the car solo or in the shower. That's where I belt out my best tunes that nobody has ever heard..if I sing the best song of my life in the shower and nobody is there to hear it, does that mean I didn't do it. Of course not.
